Dutch dyke consists of hand-crafted mussel tableaux tiles, tiles, and panels with a luxurious appearance and sustainable character. Customised Dutch dyke panels are available in almost all colours. They can also be applied in a damp room. Dutch dyke is a newly developed natural wall panel based on the creative reuse of our own seabed. For every square metre, 540 Zeeland mussel shells are recycled. The shells are manually selected, hygienically washed and processed. They are then randomly placed in a special developed substance on a okoumé plate. This is all done with great craftsmanship from Zeeland. The panels can be placed as a small loose tile in a tiled wall, for example, in a bathroom. It is also possible to cover entire walls with these mussels. For this purpose, panels are made to measure, that are glued together seamlessly on the spot. All glues used are water-based.
